No Blaming Programmers for this Java Bug
Friday, May 9, 2008
By bMighty.com Staff
The latest news out of this week's JavaOne conference at San Francisco's Moscone Center has little to do about technology and everything to do with a nasty stomach bug.
According to an alert that went out Thursday from the San Francisco Department of Public Health, an unspecified number of people either working or attending trade shows at the Moscone Center between April 30 and May 8 -- JavaOne included -- were diagnosed with norovirus, a far from fatal but unpleasant malady that causes a stomach flu.
The health department has asked that anyone with suspicious symptoms to steer clear from the Moscone Center for 48 hours post-tummy troubles.
