Zoho Online Apps Now Accept Google, Yahoo Logins

By bMighty.com Staff

Online business and productivity application provider Zoho will let Yahoo and Google users log in to Zoho with those IDs, without needing to create a Zoho account first.

Zoho evangelist Raju Vegesna said, "For Google and Yahoo users who are curious about Zoho but don't want to set up another account, we've removed that hurdle. Users don't have to create a Zoho account to use Zoho applications. We want to make it as easy as possible for everyone to try our online apps." Zoho will also enable existing members to synchronize with their Google or Yahoo accounts.

Vegesna told the Washington Post that "when users try both Zoho and Google, more than 70% of them prefer Zoho. It made sense for us to do this. We want more users to try our apps." Vegesna also said that Zoho will soon adopt OpenID and may integrate with other parties such as Microsoft and Facebook.
