Intel-Backed Nirvanix Goes Beta With CloudNAS Storage Service

Intel-funded Nirvanix has released a beta version of its new CloudNAS online storage service, giving users the ability to store up to 25 TB of data for free.

CloudNAS, which is expected to go live later this year, has storage nodes in North America, Europe and Asia; it supports both Microsoft and Linux environments. Nirvanix plans to charge users 25 cents per GB of storage, plus $200 per month for support.
